Let's play dress up!! Its not just a tagline...

Yesterday I had the opportunity to play grown up dress up in one of my favorite closets...well kind of. I attended the 3rd annual June Ambrose closet cleansing sale.

Check out my FAB FIND!! I got this June by June Ambrose for an affordable 20 bucks!! This multicolored sheath dress with its tigress like pattern fits like a dream. Its comfortable and appropriate for work, brunch or church (on this Sunday) I paired it with tan mules, but because of all the vibrant colors you have the freedom to wear almost any color shoe.

I also purchased a BCBG Max Azria blouse that will be featured in another post.

Unfortunately The June by June Ambrose HSN line is no longer available and outside of a closet cleansing sale the only place you might be able to find pieces from the collection is on ebay. Happy Shopping!!

#todayslook: Cactus Dress

If you live in NYC Or you're visiting the area, be sure to pop in to a little shoppe called STEPS New York. There are 3 STEPS locations and 2 Kara locations (the sister store to STEPS) in NYC. Today we're talking about the Queens site. Located in Forest Hills, Queens the store stands apart from its other locations. From the moment you walk in, you sense a young, fun, vibe. The staff is friendly and fashionable and treat you like a real life doll when they style you! 

This LWD (Little White Dress) has become one of my favorite pieces from STEPS Forest Hills to don in the summer. Its light, loose and airy and very forgiving in the mid section. The cutout sleeves makes it stand out next to other sheath dresses. You can dress it up with a pair of heels or dress it down with cute flats. For today I dressed it up with a pair of white heeled sandals and this navy beaded necklace. The dress is about $30.
